Last week, The Cripplegate published an article (link above) on abortion and the similarities to that and the slave trade. It began with a quote from a hero of mine, William Wilberforce:
Never, never will we desist till we . . . extinguish every trace of this bloody traffic, of which our posterity, looking back to the history of these enlightened times, will scarce believe that it has been suffered to exist so long a disgrace and dishonor to this country.
The disgrace and dishonor of abortion will surely be looked at through the lens of history as the greatest atrocity of mankind against mankind.
This article gives the Christian a Biblical response of what we can do practically to combat this evil. The first is to pray fervently, the second is to support local pregnancy centers, and the third is to proclaim the gospel.
